Michelle Betts

Michelle Betts has a diverse work experience in various HR roles. Michelle is currently working as the Head of People Business Partnering at Southern Housing since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an HR Consultant for NHS Blood and Transplant at NHS England from January 2021 to February 2023. Michelle also has experience working at River and Mercantile Group as the Head of HR Operations/Senior HRBP from November 2018 to January 2021. Before that, they worked at Skanska as the Head of Recruitment from November 2014 to November 2018 and as the Senior HR Business Partner/Head of HR from February 2011 to October 2014. Michelle also has experience as an HR Business Partner at Carillion Plc - Monteray Contract from May 2007 to February 2011 and as an HR Manager at Tarkett-Marley Floors from June 2006 to May 2008. Michelle started their career at Tesco as an Area Personnel Manager and Resource Manager from September 1998 to June 2005.

- Diploma in Business Management from Aston Business School, Aston University in 1998, with a focus on Business- Marketing, Economics, HR, and Strategy.

- BA (Hons) in Language Studies-French, Spanish, Portuguese from the University of Essex in 1997, with a specialization in French, Spanish, Portuguese, Linguistics, and TEFL.
