Jan Rakinic

Jan Rakinic is currently the Director at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. Prior to this, they were with the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery, SIU School of Medicine, and the American Board of Surgery. Jan has been an Associate Board Examiner for both the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. Rakinic has also been an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Jefferson Medical College.

Jan Rakinic received their M.D. from Tulane University School of Medicine in the field of medicine. They then completed a residency in general surgery at the University of Illinois Chicago. Jan Rakinic is currently a colorectal surgeon at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals.
