Akami Eayrs is the current Director of Admissions & Financial Aid at Southern Illinois University. Akami has extensive experience working in student services and admissions, having previously served as Vice President for Student Services at Western Illinois University and an Admissions Counselor at Missouri Western State University. Akami began their professional career as an analyst at Sprint. Akami is a dedicated and experienced professional who is committed to helping students succeed.

Akami Eayrs earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from Missouri Western State University. Akami then went on to earn a Master of Science (MS) in College Student Personnel (CSP) from Western Illinois University.
