Michael Behrmann

Mike Behrmann is an experienced academic and industry professional currently serving as Emeritus Chair and Associate Dean of the School of Automotive and College of Health and Human Sciences at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, a position held since January 1988. Behrmann has led the Automotive Technology Department and developed and instructed various courses in Automotive Business Operations, Warranty Operations, Financial Management, Marketing, and Fixed Operations. Additionally, responsibilities include serving as Automotive Internship and Cooperative Education Coordinator, GM-ASEP and Chrysler-CAP Instructor and Coordinator, and consulting in retail and wholesale operations. Behrmann also owns Behrmann Automotive Consulting Group and has a Master’s degree in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
