Matthew Magallanes has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Matthew began their career in 1975 as a Specialist in the United States Army before transitioning to the business world. Matthew co-founded and served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Computer Innovations from 1986 to 1988, where they developed software and hardware solutions for various industries. Matthew then worked as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Adata Corporation from 1984 to 1986. Magallanes later founded Modular Industrial Computers, Inc. in 1992 and served as Co-founder and Vice President of Sales and Marketing, leading the company to success in the industrial computer segment. From 2003 to 2005, they held the position of Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Comprehensive Computer Solutions, Inc., where they oversaw sales, business development, and product planning. Magallanes joined Southern Land Company in 2005 and held various roles, including Senior Vice President of Marketing and Vice President of Business Development, until 2014. Matthew then served as Vice President of Westhaven Golf Club, a division of Southern Land Company, from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, Magallanes returned to Southern Land Company as Vice President of Business Development, focusing on acquisitions, capital markets, and corporate branding. Throughout their career, Magallanes demonstrated their expertise in driving growth, developing marketing strategies, and building strong relationships with investors.

Matthew Magallanes attended Chaminade University of Honolulu from 1976 to 1978 and studied English and Communications. Matthew then went on to Indiana University Bloomington from 1979 to 1983, focusing on Business and Entrepreneurship. In 2015, Matthew obtained a certification as a Licensed Affiliate Broker in Real Estate from the Tennessee Real Estate Commission, Tennessee Association of Realtors, and National Association of Realtors.
