Rebecca D.

Rebecca D. is an Environmental Health Specialist at the Southern Nevada Health District since August 2023, following a brief tenure as a Public Health Law Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Rebecca's experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at UNLV School of Public Health, focusing on systematic and scoping reviews under Dr. Buccini's Lab, and at the Nevada Institute for Children’s Research & Policy, where responsibilities encompassed literature reviews and policy tracking. Prior roles include project support as an AmeriCorps VISTA for the City of Las Vegas, teaching with the Peace Corps, and youth development at Gonzaga Preparatory School. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Gonzaga University.
