Zac Griggs

Zac Griggs is an experienced environmental health professional currently serving as an Environmental Health Specialist in the Aquatic Health Department at Southern Nevada Health District since November 2021, focusing on ensuring the safety of public swimming facilities and local aquatic health regulations. Prior to this role, Zac managed over 100 compliance and environmental health projects as a Geologist/Hydrogeologist with Brown and Caldwell from July 2019 to November 2021. Zac’s career also includes experience as an Operations Coordinator and Project Manager at Spartan Companies, where responsibilities encompassed IT solutions and overseeing fieldwork. Early positions included internships and assistant roles in the oil and gas sector and academia, respectively. Zac holds a Bachelor's degree in Geology/Earth Science from Brigham Young University - Idaho, earned between 2010 and 2016.
