Faith Kibuye

Faith Kibuye is currently a Water Resources Extension Associate at Penn State University and has been in this position since January 2023. Additionally, Faith serves as the Lead Laboratory Technologist at Carollo Engineers and has been with the company since January 2022. Since May 2019, Faith has been a Post Doctoral Researcher at the Southern Nevada Water Authority. Faith's research experience includes working as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Pennsylvania State University since August 2015, focusing on environmental and aquatic chemistry, particularly the fate and transport of organic contaminants. Prior research roles include serving as a Research Assistant at Benedict College, where the focus was on using biomass wastes as adsorbents for heavy metals, and experience as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant. An internship at Oak Ridge National Laboratory in 2014 provided further practical experience. Faith holds a PhD in BioRenewable Systems from Penn State University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Health Science from Benedict College.
