Theodore Conklin is an experienced mechanical engineer with a strong background in the energy and water sectors. Currently serving as a Mechanical Engineer at the Southern Nevada Water Authority since February 2019, Theodore supports the operation, maintenance, and testing of multiple water treatment plants and transmission systems. Prior to this role, Theodore held positions at McDermott International Inc. as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, leading equipment engineering for a combined cycle power plant project, and at BrightSource Energy, where project management for solar receiver steam generators was a key responsibility. Additional experience includes project engineering roles at NV Energy and Sierra Pacific Power Co., focusing on combined-cycle expansion projects and power plant operations. Theodore began the engineering career at ABB Combustion Engineering Services, providing OEM support for various utility boilers. A graduate of The University of New Mexico with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Theodore brings a wealth of expertise to the field.
