Weiquan D. is a seasoned hydrologist with extensive experience in groundwater flow modeling, environmental remediation, and hydrologic analysis. Currently employed at the Southern Nevada Water Authority since January 2024, Weiquan D. applies advanced scientific methods and numerical models to support decision-making processes. Previously, Weiquan D. served as a Professional Engineer IV at the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection for over eleven years, leading technical evaluations and remedy developments. Other notable roles include Senior Hydrogeologist at Geomega and Principal Geologist at Parsons, before which Weiquan D. obtained a PhD in Geoscience focusing on hydrology and hydrogeology from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. With foundational research experience from esteemed institutions, Weiquan D. combines technical expertise with a strong background in geochemistry and hydrogeology.
