Jennifer Haynes

Jennifer Haynes holds the position of Ethics & Compliance Manager at Southern Power since March 2023, building on a long tenure at Southern Company, which began in February 1999. Prior to current responsibilities, Jennifer served as Compliance Supervisor at Alabama Power Company from July 2014 to February 2023 and was the Concerns & Compliance Coordinator at Southern Nuclear from July 2009 to July 2014. In these roles, responsibilities included developing and delivering compliance program communication and training, as well as conducting concerns investigations to uphold policy adherence. Jennifer Haynes earned a Juris Master in Legal Risk Management & HR Compliance from Florida State University College of Law (2018-2020) and holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (2003-2007). Jennifer Haynes is also certified as a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
