Jessica Nahay

Jessica (Pieczynski) Nahay is a Solar Project Development Engineer at Southern Power since November 2024, following a role as a Transmission Planning Engineer at Southern Company, where responsibilities included steady-state power flow transmission modeling studies and training development for the department. Prior experience includes a position as Project Management & Communications Engineer at Alabama Power Company, focusing on financial estimating software, training coordination, and application support, along with roles as a Distribution Engineer and Engineering Intern within the company. Jessica has also contributed as an Engineering Ambassador and Teaching Assistant at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and served as a tutor for students in math and sciences. Currently pursuing an MBA with a financial concentration, Jessica holds a BS in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the same institution.
