James grew up in St. Louis, MO and currently lives in O’Fallon, MO with his three kids. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ceramics and Sculpture from Missouri State University. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, creating craft cocktails, and traveling with his family.
James has 26 years of restaurant experience which included Red Robin, Steak and Shake, Pasta House, and Carrabas. He joined McAlister’s in 2018 as the General Manager of the O’Fallon, MO, location, which achieved the fastest ticket times in the West Division two years running under his management. James and his team trained 20+ managers in his final two years in O’Fallon. James is now the Area Director for six locations across three states.
