Chelsea Robertson is the Executive Director at Southern Tier Central Regional Planning and Development Board. Chelsea has dedicated their career to public service and planning.

Chelsea began their career as a Research Assistant at Binghamton University, where they used Excel to gather and manipulate data collected from the Census Bureau and New York State Comptroller. Chelsea then conducted statistical analysis of the data using SPSS in order to come to conclusions concerning the economic vitality of New York's villages.

In May 2010, Chelsea began working as a Senior Planner at Southern Tier Central Planning and Development Board. As a planner at STC, Chelsea provides technical planning assistance to a three county region that encompasses 77 municipal governments. Chelsea has also completed and participated in multiple Comprehensive Planning and Watershed Planning processes and provides yearly land use and municipal leadership training. In addition, Chelsea spends a great deal of time grant writing and working to bring funding to our region.

Chelsea's specialties include budgeting, competitive bidding, contract management, finance, GIS (ArcView), local government finance, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, QuickBooks, and SPSS.

Chelsea Robertson has a Master's in Public Administration from Binghamton University, with a focus in public and non-profit administration. Chelsea also has a Bachelor's degree in Geography - Urban and Regional Planning from Binghamton University, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science - International Studies from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
