Grant Stevens

Grant Stevens is an experienced communications professional with a robust background in advocacy and marketing for environmental and historic preservation organizations. Currently serving as the Communications Director at Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance since June 2023, Grant previously held the same position at Wilderness Workshop from December 2020 to June 2023, focusing on the protection of public lands in Western Colorado. Prior to these roles, Grant contributed greatly to the National Trust for Historic Preservation from October 2013 to November 2020, where responsibilities included leading marketing initiatives for a portfolio of historic sites and developing community outreach campaigns. Earlier experience includes serving as Development Director and Development Assistant at the African American Museum of Iowa, achieving significant fundraising success. Grant holds a Master's degree in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law and Graduate School and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and American Studies from Coe College.
