Marc Heitmann

Marc Heitmann PhD is currently the Growth & Strategy Lead (Bioresources) at Southern Water. Previously, Marc worked as a Technical Consultant at Oakdene Hollins, a Research Engineer at Thames Water, and an Entrepreneur at Enigma MS. Marc also has experience as a Research Scientist at Thames Water, a Customer Team Member at Co-op, and a Kitchen Assistant at Nellie's Cafe & Restaurant. Marc holds a Ph.D. in Sustainable Civil Engineering from Imperial College London. Marc's background includes exploring circular economy opportunities in the water, minerals, and waste sectors, asset management and strategy development for wastewater infrastructure, designing and optimizing pilot-scale pyrolysis plants, and revolutionizing mass spectrometry data analysis.
