Chad Ford, P.E. has extensive work experience in the field of engineering, with a focus on project management. Chad is currently employed at Southland Holdings as a Project Manager since October 2020. Prior to this, they worked at American Bridge Company for over a decade, holding various roles. From May 2018 to present, they served as a Project Manager, working on multiple projects in the NE Region. One notable project was the pursuit of the New York Wheel, where they were the Lead Engineer responsible for work plans, coordinating fabrication shops globally, and obtaining necessary permits. Unfortunately, the project was eventually canceled due to funding issues. From October 2017 to May 2018, they held the position of Senior Project Engineer on the same New York Wheel pursuit. In this role, they coordinated with various stakeholders for project development. Additionally, they served as a Senior Project Engineer from May 2017 to October 2017, responsible for the Main Span portion of the Mario Cuomo Bridges project, and as a Project Engineer from February 2015 to May 2017, where they initially focused on the superstructure portion and later expanded their role to oversee the entirety of the Main Span. Prior to these roles, Chad worked as a Field Engineer on the George Washington Bridge and the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge. Chad'searlier experience includes an internship as a Co-Op/Intern at American Bridge Company from January 2006 to August 2007.

Chad Ford, P.E., obtained their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh, where they attended from 2003 to 2007.
