Olexiy Laukhin

Olexiy Laukhin has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries.

From 2021 to the present, they worked at Southland Holdings LLC as a Project Engineer, where they were involved in the construction of the New Westminster Interceptor Columbia Section sewer and the Ashbridges Bay Treatment Plant Outfall project. In these roles, they managed and supervised the execution of sewer construction projects, including the installation of pipes and lateral connections.

Prior to that, from 2020 to 2021, Olexiy worked as a Virtual Design Specialist at Flynn Group of Companies. Olexiy'sresponsibilities included designing building envelopes for large commercial and residential projects and conducting field surveys to capture construction site conditions.

From 2018 to 2020, they worked as a Propulsion Systems Engineer at CAE, where they likely focused on designing propulsion systems for aerospace applications.

In 2015, Olexiy had two simultaneous roles. At Ryerson University, they were the Landing Gear Team Lead for the Ryerson Aero Design team, where they mentored and led a team in the design process of a radio-controlled aircraft for competitions. And at Jitsu Canada, they served as an Assistant Instructor, assisting in teaching martial arts classes and providing training to new club members.

Olexiy Laukhin pursued their education in the field of aerospace engineering, earning a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree from Ryerson University from 2013 to 2017. Prior to this, they attended Seneca College from 2012 to 2013, specializing in aviation operations and aviation safety.
