Elizabeth Provencher

Elizabeth Provencher, CAMS, currently serves as the FVP and Director of AML Systems & Technology at SouthState Bank since May 2023. Previously, Elizabeth held the position of Vice President and Bank Secrecy Act Officer at BankFive from March 2018 to November 2022, where oversight of the bank's financial crimes program was a key responsibility. Prior to BankFive, Elizabeth spent nearly a decade at Bank of America, progressing through various roles including Financial Crimes Compliance Manager and Senior Operational Risk Specialist, focusing on auditing, regulatory compliance, and the development of AML metrics. Elizabeth's career began as an Associate Financial Advisor at John Hancock Financial Services, complemented by an Associate of Arts degree from Community College of Rhode Island and a Certificate in Accounting and Finance from the National Academy of Finance (Rhode Island College/Bryant University Joint Collaborative).
