Tim Byrne

Tim Byrne is an accomplished mortgage lending professional with significant experience spanning multiple leadership roles in the financial and broadcasting sectors. Currently serving as Vice President and Mortgage Lender at SouthState Bank Mortgage since September 2017, Byrne has a proven track record of exceeding growth and profit goals through effective customer retention strategies and new client acquisition. Prior to this role, Byrne was recognized as the top mortgage producer in Alabama while at Wells Fargo, and previously managed multiple branches at 1st Family Mortgage Company. Earlier experience includes a leadership role in sales at Rocket City Broadcasting and military service as a Corporal in the US Army, where Byrne earned numerous commendations for outstanding performance. Tim Byrne holds a BS in Clinical Laboratory Technology from Auburn University and completed specialized training as a Field Medic in the Army.
