Eugene Nixon

Eugene Nixon is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategy and compliance within the public sector. Currently serving as the Head of Strategy & Compliance for Exchequer Services at Southwark Council since October 2013, Eugene leads initiatives aimed at transforming key financial functions while focusing on local strategies in response to government reforms. Previously, Eugene held roles at the Department for Work and Pensions, contributing to the Universal Credit Programme as a Relationship Manager, and at Southwark Council in various strategic and compliance management positions. Academically, Eugene holds an MSc in Politics & Administration from Birkbeck, University of London, and a BA (Hons) in Politics & International Relations from Lancaster University.
