Rachel Bentley

Rachel Bentley is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public service and economic strategy. Currently serving as a Consultant at Blick Rothenberg and a Councillor at Southwark Council since May 2022, Rachel has also been a Parliamentary Candidate for the Liberal Democrats in Bermondsey & Old Southwark, achieving 24% of the vote. Previously, Rachel held the position of Associate Director at the Centre for Local Economic Strategies, advising governments on progressive economic strategies. A former Researcher at the UCL Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose, Rachel contributed to a project for the Biscay Government focusing on sustainable fiscal systems. With a robust educational background including a Master of Public Administration from UCL and an LLM from Nagoya University, Rachel has also held significant roles at PwC in various global locations over a 17-year tenure.
