Arpit Tyagi

Arpit Tyagi is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software development and engineering, currently serving as a Tech Lead at Southwest Airlines since April 2019. In this role, Arpit has successfully transitioned monolithic applications to a fully cloud-native architecture, contributed to CI/CD pipeline enhancements, and developed reusable libraries while mentoring junior developers. Prior to Southwest Airlines, Arpit held multiple positions at Bank of America, where responsibilities included collaborating on project roadmaps, providing infrastructure expertise, and leading development teams. Arpit's earlier career at Infosys involved extensive work in application design, system upgrades, and stakeholder engagement across various projects in different regions, including Australia and New Zealand. Arpit holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Rajasthan Technical University.
