Heather Thorson

Heather Thorson is a seasoned professional in change management and organizational development with extensive experience in leading change initiatives. Currently serving as a Sr Change Consultant at Southwest Airlines since December 2023, Heather previously held multiple roles at the Federal Aviation Administration from September 2010 to December 2023, including Change Management Lead and Senior Organizational Change Consultant/Leadership Coach. Heather has provided internal coaching and consulting services to managers and leadership teams, has completed advanced coaching training through Corporate Coach U, and holds an ACC certification from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Additionally, certifications include MBTI, EQi 2.0, and DiSC, along with credentials as a Change Management Practitioner and Trainer through Prosci. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Manager at CAVOK Group from March 2007 to August 2010. Heather earned a BA in Communications from Arizona State University.
