Marilyn Post

Marilyn leads the General Counsel Department's Corporate & Transactions Team, which is responsible for assisting with the legal aspects of all of Southwest's transactional matters. Marilyn also serves as an advisor to the Board of Directors and Senior Management on Corporate Governance and SEC matters.

Marilyn's experience prior to joining Southwest includes serving as Vice President, Senior Corporate Counsel, & Corporate Secretary for Blockbuster Inc.; Associate General Counsel for CellStar Corporation; and as an Associate in the Corporate/Securities Section of Jackson Walker in Dallas. Prior positions at Southwest include Associate General Counsel – Corporate & Transactions (October 2013-October 2018); Assistant General Counsel (August 2011-October 2013); and Senior Attorney (December 2006-July 2011).
