Richard Weaver

Richard Weaver is an experienced professional with a strong background in airport screening operations and security technology management. Currently serving as Regional Manager of Airport Screening Operations at Southwest Airlines, Richard has been instrumental in overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of inline Baggage Security Screening Systems, focusing on cost efficiency and system longevity. In a previous role as QC/QA Manager, responsibilities included managing O&M contracts to enhance value for Southwest Airlines and promote continuous improvement in operations. Earlier experience as Owner's Representative at Vic Thompson Company involved overseeing operations and maintaining system reliability for the baggage handling system. Richard holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and has additional education from UNLV Lee Business School and the University of Maryland.
