Wayne Williams has a diverse work experience in procurement, supply chain management, and technology. Wayne started their career at Trading Technologies as a Business Process Analyst, focusing on improving productivity and scalability within the organization. Wayne later worked at Sun Trading LLC as Director of Administration and Legal Associate, where they led global procurement and managed key vendor relationships.

In 2014, Williams joined Southwest Airlines and held multiple roles. As Manager of Supply Chain Management COE, they were responsible for process optimization, compliance initiatives, and implementing new technology and sourcing strategies. Wayne also played a crucial role in establishing and maturing the Vendor Management Office, providing best practices in strategic sourcing and contract management.

Williams then joined Ace Hardware Corporation as an IT Category Manager, working on sourcing initiatives and negotiating complex contracts. Wayne returned to Southwest Airlines as Director of Supply Chain Operations, leading teams focused on operational support and utilizing advanced analytics software for data-driven decision support.

Most recently, they worked at ActiveCampaign as the Director of Procurement, where they created a procurement and strategic sourcing discipline for the technology startup.
