J. Blount Swain

J. Blount Swain is a strategic advisor and board member at Southwest Behavioral Health Services, Inc. J. has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including as the CEO of Proteor USA from 2011 to 2019.

Blount began their career in the healthcare industry in 1999 as a sales representative for Columbia West Capital. J. then spent two years as a product manager for PROTEOR USA before being promoted to CEO in 2011.

Under Blount's leadership, Proteor USA experienced significant growth, culminating in the acquisition of RUSH Foot in 2018. This acquisition allowed Proteor to expand its range of products and services and solidify its position in the US market.

In addition to their role at Southwest Behavioral Health Services, Inc., Blount also serves as a strategic advisor for TreCeuticals.

J. Blount Swain has a BS in Business and Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. J. is certified by the NC State Board of CPAs as a Certified Public Accountant.
