Greg Efthemes possesses extensive experience in engineering and technical management within the gas industry. Currently serving as Supervisor of Laboratory Services at Southwest Gas Corporation since June 2001, Greg manages laboratory operations to support a network of 2 million customers across Arizona, Nevada, and California, conducting failure analysis and investigations of substandard materials. As Owner and Principal of Technical Support Services since January 1996, Greg provides specialized consulting in forensic analysis of failed materials. Previous roles include Director of Technical Support at Washington Gas, where responsibility included overseeing multiple regulatory and safety departments, and Senior Division Engineer at Virginia Natural Gas, focusing on system integrity for 110,000 customers. Greg’s foundational experience also includes positions related to welding and metallurgical engineering, as well as training and quality control, complemented by a Master’s Degree in Research & Development and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology and Occupational Safety.
