Tom Hoof is currently a board member at Southwest Human Development. Tom previously served as the Vice President of Marketing & Game Entertainment for the Arizona Coyotes from January 2017 to June 2020. In this role, Tom led a team of 26 direct and indirect reports in the development and execution of marketing activities for the NHL team. Tom was responsible for developing multi-channel marketing strategies to improve brand positioning, increase the fan base, and enhance audience engagement. Under their leadership, the Coyotes increased their social media footprint and launched their first-ever campaign targeting the Theirpanic market. As a result of Tom's efforts, the Coyotes achieved record revenue and attendance.
Prior to their work with the Coyotes, Tom served as the Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of Marketing & Communications for the University of South Florida from January 2013 to December 2017. In this role, they oversaw all aspects of the university's marketing and communications efforts, including brand management, advertising, media relations, and digital marketing. Tom was also responsible for leading the university's rebranding initiative, which resulted in a more unified and consistent brand identity across all USF campuses.
