Jason Wright

Jason Wright, EdS, currently serves as the Deputy Director of Special Education at the Southwest Kansas Area Cooperative District since July 2019, following a role as Assistant Director of Special Education. Previous experience includes positions as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology with Amarillo ISD and various roles at United Supermarkets, LLC, and the American Red Cross as a volunteer. Jason has also held leadership positions such as Gifted Education Program Director at Education Service Center - Greenbush and Southeast Region Director with the Kansas Association of School Psychologists. Additionally, Jason's early career included being a Field Researcher at NCS Pearson and a School Psychologist at Tri-County Special Education Interlocal #607. Educational credentials encompass a Doctor of Education in progress from Kansas State University, an Advanced Education Program in District Leadership from Fort Hays State University, and multiple degrees in Educational Leadership, School Psychology, Psychology, and Elementary Education from Pittsburg State University.
