Anna Vindiola

Anna Vindiola is an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching English and special education across various grade levels. At Southwest Leadership Academy Charter School since July 2014, Anna has specialized in teaching Freshman and Sophomore English, focusing on credit recovery for diverse student populations while aligning lessons with Arizona State Common Core Standards. Prior experience includes teaching at Edge High School, where Anna managed curriculum development and preparation for AIMS Writing and Reading assessments. Additional roles have included working with youth with visual impairments, serving as a Youth Service Learning Coordinator with AmeriCorps, and conducting art programs at the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Anna holds a Master of Arts in Special Education and Teaching from the University of Arizona and a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Northern Arizona University.
