Lola D.

Lola D. is an experienced English Language Arts educator and literacy mentor currently teaching at Southwest Leadership Academy Charter School since September 2023. Previously, Lola D. served as the Deputy Coordinator of English and Literacy Coordinator at Harris Invictus Academy from September 2021 to August 2023. Prior roles include Head of English and Acting Joint Head of English at Archbishop Tenison’s School, where responsibilities also included Head of House and English Teacher. Lola D. began the teaching career as an English Teacher at Folkestone Academy from June 2012 to August 2016 as part of the Teach First Secondary School English program. Educational qualifications include a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Theatre from The University of Sheffield, a Master of Arts in Transformational Leadership from Canterbury Christ Church University, and a PGCE in Secondary Education and Teaching from Canterbury Christ Church University.
