Adam Jungkunz

Adam Jungkunz, Ph.D., serves as a Senior Research Engineer at Southwest Research Institute since June 2023. Previously, Jungkunz held positions at CACI International Inc as a Systems Engineer where project leadership focused on a $2M initiative to calibrate wind tunnel systems, and at LHP Engineering Solutions as a Senior Application Engineer, developing software for hybrid vehicle components. Jungkunz’s experience includes contributions as a Staff Systems Engineer at National Instruments and a Systems Engineer at Yan Engines, along with research roles at Stanford University and the University of Minnesota. Adam holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, alongside an MS from the same institution and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota.
