Marcus Stanfield has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Marcus began their career as a Technician at Composite Solutions, LLC in 2004. Marcus then worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the University of Utah from 2005 to 2007. Following that, Marcus joined Hexcel Corporation as an Engineer from 2007 to 2008. Marcus then returned to the University of Utah as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant from 2008 to 2010. After that, Marcus worked as an Aerospace Engineer at Northrop Grumman from 2010 to 2012. Currently, they are working as a Lead Engineer at Southwest Research Institute, starting from 2012.
Marcus Stanfield has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah, which they obtained in 2008. Marcus went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same university between 2008 and 2010. Marcus is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Utah, expected to be completed in 2023. In addition to their academic qualifications, Marcus holds a certification in Fundamentals of Engineering from the NCEES, which they obtained in 2008.
