Zachary Olson

Zachary Olson is a Senior Research Engineer at Southwest Research Institute, where employment commenced in March 2021. Prior to this role, Zachary served as a Graduate Research Fellow at the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area from January 2018 to March 2021, while pursuing a PhD in Nuclear Engineering & Health Physics at Texas A&M University. Additional experience includes positions as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Texas A&M University from 2016 to early 2018, a Private Tutor at WyzAnt Tutoring from 2013 to May 2017, and a Research Assistant at Baylor College of Medicine in early 2016, where responsibilities included lab management and performing PCR. Earlier positions include tutoring at Lone Star College and serving as a preacher at North Main Church of Christ from 2007 to 2012. Zachary Olson earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Health/Medical Physics from Texas A&M University in 2020.
