Ben Bauman

Ben Bauman has a diverse work experience in product development and management. Ben is currently serving as the Director of Product Development at Southwestern Consulting since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Product Manager at SP+ (SP Plus) from 2020 to 2022, leading agile product teams and developing mobile point of sale systems.

Ben also served as the Director of Portfolio Management at the Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation from 2018 to 2020. In this role, they led cross-functional teams, created analytical reports, and presented product strategies to the executive team.

Before that, Ben was the Director of Product Development at the North Carolina Education Lottery from 2016 to 2018. Ben managed current and future product delivery and launched new product verticals in collaboration with vendors and research partners.

Earlier in their career, Ben worked at Scientific Games from 2007 to 2016. Ben held various roles including Sales & Distribution Manager, Tennessee CSP Manager, and Product Manager. In these positions, they contributed to winning RFP responses, managed instant game products, and provided on-site analysis and support for multiple lottery customers.

Overall, Ben Bauman has extensive experience in product development, portfolio management, and sales.

Ben Bauman obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University in 2006. Ben has additional certifications in various subjects such as AI-first product leadership, creating a positive and healthy work environment, Excel business intelligence, leadership foundations, and product management. Ben also holds certifications in strategic agility, transitioning from manager to leader, agile development practices, agile foundations, and agile software development. In addition, they have certifications in marketing management, brand and marketing integration, building creative organizations, building marketing technology stack, comparing agile versus waterfall project management, data analytics for business professionals, and designing growth strategies. All of these certifications were obtained in 2020.
