Jason Reese

Jason Reese is currently the Director of Network Services at Southwestern Illinois College. Prior to their current position, Jason was the IS Project Leader at Magna International from March 2007 to July 2008. In this role, they were responsible for activities involved in developing, implementing, and supporting IT system projects. This included testing and implementing new computer software systems, providing technical problem solution support and training for end users, procuring new hardware and software, monitoring network and computer security to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, documenting permissions and change orders to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and managing and monitoring a variety of systems on a daily basis.

From November 2000 to March 2007, Jason was the Systems Administrator at SBA Computers, Inc. In this role, they were responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the company’s computer systems and networks. Jason also provided technical support to users and resolved any computer-related issues that arose.

Prior to their career in IT, Jason was the Manager at Autco Distributing, Inc. from January 1990 to October 2000. In this role, they oversaw the daily operations of the company’s warehouse and distribution center. Jason was also responsible for hiring and training employees, as well as managing inventory levels.

Jason Reese has a Master's in Computer Resources and Information Management from Webster University, a Bachelor's in Management/Human Resources from Park University, and an Associate's Degree from Southwestern Illinois College.
