Matthew MacArah

Matthew Macarah is an experienced education professional currently serving as an Education Program Specialist for School Improvement at the Bureau of Indian Education since May 2022. Previously, Matthew was a Social Science Teacher with the El Paso Independent School District from August 2021 to May 2022 and held the position of School Principal at the Bureau of Indian Education from July 2017 to May 2021. Matthew's career also includes military service as an Operations NCO in the US Army from January 2011 to July 2017. Matthew holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Pennsylvania.
