Tom Bourcier

Tom Bourcier is a seasoned music educator and composer with extensive experience in various faculties and musical enterprises. As the founder of 2 Moons Records and a self-employed teacher at T Murray Music since February 2015, Tom specializes in piano performance and composition across jazz, film, and dance. Previously, Tom served as an instructor at Luther College from 2000 to 2012, where responsibilities included teaching courses in improvisation and jazz theory while directing the Luther College Jazz Band. Additionally, Tom held the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 1990 to 1995, focusing on music history and choreography. Tom holds a Master of Music degree in Music Composition from Western Michigan University, earned between 1984 and 1990, and studied at Alma College from 1982 to 1984.
