Alicia Moore

Alicia Moore, Ph.D., serves as the Cargill Endowed Professor at Southwestern University since August 2001, where responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses in early childhood, special education, and general education, supervising field-based and student teachers, developing course content, and engaging in scholarly research. Previously, Alicia worked with the Austin Independent School District in various roles, including principal and teacher, and held positions at Huston-Tillotson University and the University of Texas at Austin, focusing on curriculum development, teacher training, and technical assistance for teacher certification programs. Alicia holds a Ph.D. in Special Education, a Master's Degree in Special Education and Teaching, and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from recognized institutions.
