Jared Pointer

Jared Pointer has a diverse and extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Their most recent role is as the Director of Finance at Southwire Company starting in 2022. Prior to that, from 2018 to 2022, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at CAVCO, Inc., where they managed financial decision-making and reporting for the company and its subsidiaries. Before that, from 2011 to 2018, they held various roles at Southwire Company including SAP Implementation Project Team Manager, Division Finance Manager, and Controller. Jared also has experience working as a Financial Analyst at BAE Systems, Inc. from 2007 to 2011, and as a Senior Accountant/Auditor at Warren Averett, LLC from 2006 to 2007. Their earlier experiences include working as a Staff Accountant/Auditor at The Sanders Company and as a Senior Computer Programmer at Liberty National Life Insurance Company. Overall, Jared Pointer has demonstrated their expertise in financial management, accounting, and project coordination throughout their career.

Jared Pointer has an M.B.A. degree in Accounting, Business Administration, and Criminal Justice from Jacksonville State University. Jared also holds a High School degree from Walter Wellborn High School. Jared is additionally certified as a Public Accountant by the Alabama State Board of Public Accountancy in 2008.
