Head Of HR at Sova Assessment

Kerris O'Brien has extensive work experience in HR and operations management. From 2017 onwards, Kerris worked at Sova Assessment, starting as an HR & Operations Manager and later becoming the People & Culture Lead. Currently, Kerris holds the position of Head of HR at Sova Assessment. Prior to that, Kerris worked at Korn Ferry Hay Group as the Global Training Team Lead - Talent Q from 2015 to 2023. Before that, Kerris worked at Talent Q as a Training Coordinator and an Account Executive from 2012 to 2015. Kerris' earlier professional experience includes various roles at Santander, including Savings Specialist, Personal Banking Advisor, and Customer Service Advisor from 2008 to 2012.

Kerris O'Brien has a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition, Health & Lifestyles from Sheffield Hallam University, which they obtained from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, they attended Holy Cross College from 2003 to 2005, where they studied Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, and History. Kerris completed their secondary education at St Gabriels R.C High School from 1998 to 2003. Additionally, Kerris has obtained several certifications including the Level 5 Diploma in Human Resource Practice from CIPD in 2023, the Level 3 Diploma in Human Resource Practice from CIPD in 2020, ECDL from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in 2014, Prince 2 certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2014, and various certifications related to financial services regulation and ethics as well as occupational testing from the Cii and The British Psychological Society.
