Amirreza Ghasemi

Amirreza Ghasemi has a diverse work experience spanning from 2014 to 2021. In 2014, they began as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Kentucky where they performed experimental studies to characterize turbulent flows in rivers and graded homework. In 2016, they moved to the University of Minnesota to become a Postdoctoral Associate, Graduate Teaching Assistant, and Research Assistant. During this time, they led 9 laboratory sections on Fluid Mechanics for six semesters and developed a digital image processing algorithm in MATLAB. In 2017, they became a Business Consultant for the Office of University Economic Development and advised one of the top 3 single-family home property management companies in the U.S. In 2018, they were both a Business Consultant for the Office of University Economic Development and a Led a roundtable discussion for the U.S. Department of State. In 2021, they began their current role as a Machine Learning Engineer for sovaSage Inc.

Amirreza Ghasemi has a diverse educational background. Amirreza completed a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in 2014. Amirreza then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kentucky, which they completed in 2016. Most recently, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2020. Additionally, Amirreza has obtained various certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Coursera, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, and multiple Coursera certifications in Data Analysis, Data Visualization, Databases and SQL, Deep Neural Networks, Machine Learning, Principles of Valuation, Programming for Everybody, Python Data Structures, Accounting Analytics, Customer Analytics, Operations Analytics, and People Analytics.
