Nate Watkin has been working in the golf industry since 2001, starting as a Crew Member at Don Veller Seminole Golf Course & Club in 2003. Nate then moved to Capital City Country Club in 2001, where they also worked as a Crew Member. In 2007, Nate became an Intern at Great Waters - Reynold Plantation, and in 2008 they were an Intern at Battle Creek Country Club. In 2009, Nate was hired as Assistant Superintendent at Trump International Golf Club, West Palm Beach. In 2014, they were promoted to Superintendent of Golf Course & Grounds at The Seagate Country Club, and in 2020 they were hired as Channel Manager - Golf Industry / Erosion Control at SOX Erosion Solutions.

Nate Watkin attended Florida State University from 2000 to 2005, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Exercise Science. Nate then attended Lake City Community College from 2006 to 2009, where they earned an A.S. in Golf Course Operations.
