Darren Stobbart

Darren Stobbart is an experienced professional in the field of crop science, currently serving as Associate Director and Head of Crop Science at S&P Global since March 2022. Stobbart leads a team that provides critical analysis, data, and reporting services to the global crop protection and seed sectors, having previously held positions as Research Manager and Senior Research Analyst within the same team. Prior to joining S&P Global, Stobbart worked at IHS Markit and Informa, where responsibilities included estimating the global agrochemical market size, publishing market reports, and providing consulting services related to the crop protection industry. Stobbart holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) with Honours in Marine and Freshwater Biology from Edinburgh Napier University, obtained from 2009 to 2013.
