Deena Carstens Munn

Deena Carstens Munn is an accomplished Events Director at S&P Global, where responsibilities include overseeing CERAWeek since March 2022. Previously, Deena held various positions at IHS Markit from December 2010 to June 2022, including Events Director and Senior Sponsorship Manager for CERAWeek, and was recognized as an IHS Circle of Excellence Recipient in 2014 and 2016. Deena also founded and served as President of the Houston Philanthropic Society from December 2009 to November 2019, and has extensive experience in marketing and community relations from roles at the Houston Technology Center, Halliburton, Landmark, SAIC, and GrandBasin. Deena holds a BA in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Florida and a Marketing Certification from the University of Houston.
