Douglas L. Peterson

Douglas L. Peterson is the current President & CEO at S&P Global. Douglas has over 25 years of experience in the banking and finance industries.

Peterson began their career as a Research Analyst at Chevron in 1980. Douglas then moved to Citibank in 1986, where they became the Chief Operating Officer in charge of the largest banking sub with presence in 101 countries and assets of $1.1 trillion. In 2011, Peterson joined S&P Global as President & CEO.

Douglas L. Peterson earned their MBA in International Finance and Management from The Wharton School and their B.A. in Mathematics and Theirtory from Claremont McKenna College.
