Nilendra Singh Pawar

Nilendra Singh Pawar serves as a Professor and Chairperson of the Operations, Supply Chain, and Quantitative Methods department at SPJIMR SP Jain Institute of Management & Research since September 2016, with teaching interests in Operations Management, Supply Chain Planning, Strategic Sourcing, and Logistics Management. Previously, Nilendra was the Senior Vice President at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd., leading Supply Chain and e-commerce sales for Pantaloons Brands, and held several senior positions at Kohler India Corp Pvt Ltd., including Director of New Business Initiatives and Director of Supply Chain and Technical Services. Prior to Kohler, Nilendra gained extensive experience at Asian Paints, advancing through roles from Forecast Analyst to Chief Manager, overseeing various aspects of sourcing, logistics, and new product development. Nilendra holds a PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, a PGDM from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee.
