Kelsey Sherman

Junior Creative Director & Graphic Designer at Spa City Digital

Kelsey Sherman, a native of Vermont, is a visual artist and graphic designer who values clear, universal communication in her work. Kelsey, who currently lives in New York, is a graphic designer for Spa City Digital and the Saratoga TODAY newspaper. Kelsey designs print materials (brochures, white papers, postcards, stickers, trade show banners, etc.), produces and/or refreshes branding identities (logos and style guides), and builds websites for clients at Spa City Digital. At Saratoga TODAY, she creates digital and print ads for in-house publications, updates all house websites (saratogatodaynewspaper.com, simplysaratoga.com, and saratogabride.com) and manages social media.

As a graphic design intern and project graphic designer at the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, Mass., from December 2018 to May 2021, Kelsey was responsible for production work that she credits for honing her design style. Kelsey has also launched branding identities for Diane Scott, chair of the Fine and Performing Arts Department at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and MCLA's STEM Academy, as well as the Creative Compact for Collective Impact, and the Berkshire Cultural Assets Network—initiatives funded by the National Endowment for the Arts in 2018.

Kelsey’s first solo art exhibition in February and March 2020 featured her personal work, which includes typefaces and drawings that focus on the concepts of remembrance, grief and loss. In addition to her creative work, Kelsey received a Travel Fellowship to Venice, Italy, in November 2019. She is a 2020 graduate of MCLA, where she earned a BA in arts management and art with a concentration in design.
